A tragic incident occurred in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam, where a 5-year-old boy died after allegedly eating a cucumber for dinner. Two other children from the same family were admitted to the ICU and are battling for their lives. The family members consumed Balam cucumbers, also known as African kheera, and shortly after, they experienced severe vomiting, nausea, and stomachaches. Doctors suspect salmonella poisoning as the cause.
